Following strong interest from members, we’re introducing a new series of regional, in-person meetings for marketing managers, heads, and directors across the FE sector.

These sessions are designed to bring colleagues together locally — creating space for strategic discussion, shared insight, and sector-wide thinking.


Why attend?

At a senior level, marketing conversations often move beyond campaigns and channels — focusing instead on wider challenges facing the sector.

These meet-ups provide the opportunity to:

  • Connect with peers in your region
  • Explore shared challenges across FE
  • Discuss the wider marketing landscape
  • Gain perspective from how other colleges are approaching similar issues
  • Contribute to collective thinking that benefits the sector as a whole

What to expect

Each session will be:

  • In-person and locally hosted by a college
  • Small and focused (around 15-20 attendees)
  • Strategic and discussion-led, centred on sector-wide topics
  • Supported by short, relevant presentations where they add value

The emphasis is on open, high-level conversation — creating a space where peers can step back from day-to-day delivery and focus on the bigger picture, without the need to share commercially sensitive detail.

These sessions are designed to be led by the sector, for the sector.

The agenda for each meet-up will be shaped by those attending, ensuring the discussion reflects the priorities and challenges within each region.

Where it adds value, CMN will also bring in speakers or contributors to support key topics — meaning each session may vary depending on regional needs and interests.
